Launched in 1570, it is one of the oldest Christmas markets in all of Europe and is the largest Christmas market in all of France. A truly iconic institution, you have to experience it at least once in your life.
For an altogether different atmosphere, Colmar is an excellent choice. From November onwards, all the buildings in the medieval town centre are adorned in the finest colours. Discover this fairytale atmosphere along the old town’s streets and by the canals in the Petite Venise district.
